Shabby Wedding

December 7th, 2011 | By WeddingPlanner77

My sister’s wedding will be held in my parent’s country home. My sister mentioned that she had always wanted to hold her ceremony here, since it brought her a lot of memories. This is the same place as well where she was molded to the person that she is at the present. This is the very spot where she had grown and become the perfect partner to her soon to be husband. I think it had a nice touch to it, and was quite surprised that my sister was quite a sentimental person.

For her wedding, I decided to get her one of those slate signs as wedding reception décor. I specifically asked the artist to write down happy ever after on the sign, which my cousin and I hung on the photo wall area to be used during the reception. We also added a few shabby country items which is truly reflective of the couple’s origins. The photo area was well appreciated by guests, and it was wonderful to have my sister so delighted with what we have done. For sure, the photos taken in this very place will bring in lots of good memories for all who attended.

For Better or For Worse

Cupcake wedding cakes are cupcakes created specifically for use in a wedding celebration. These cakes can serve as the primary wedding cake or as the servings that are provided to the guests. When wedding cupcakes are used as the primary cake, the bride and groom generally choose to use decorative tiers for the cupcakes. In this way, the cupcake wedding cakes are arranged to look similar to a traditional wedding cake. When the time comes to cut the cake, the bride and groom simply exchange wedding cupcakes.

Cupcake wedding cakes have a number of advantages over a traditional wedding cake. They eliminate the need to cut the wedding cake so that the wedding guests can receive their cake quickly. Cupcake wedding cakes will also ensure that all of the guests receive an equal portion of the wedding cake. Cupcake wedding cakes are fast gaining popularity in weddings. Aside from their convenience, they can also be a less expensive option for those who wish to make their own wedding cake.

Finally, My Own Wedding Cake

August 24th, 2011 | By WeddingPlanner77

I have been dreaming of a beautiful wedding since I was a child. You may call me cheesy and old-fashioned but ever since I can remember all I wanted to have was a wedding in a church and a reception filled with people that I love. I have seen my friends get married and I was really anxious when my boyfriend for five years will finally propose. He finally did last year and we are ready to get married next month.

I found the kindest wedding coordinator that was suggested by a close friend and w worked hand in hand with even the tiniest details of the wedding. Everything was settled and the last one on our list was the cake. I have seen cakes from various weddings and I wanted mine to be unique. That’s when she suggested a wedding cupcake tower that she said could be customized by a baker that she knows. It now has the final design and we had the taste test for the cupcakes and it was glorious! I can’t wait for the wedding and that unique cake!

That is why wedding decorators give their best to come up with the best possible look to a wedding hall with a variety of wedding decors. One of the latest trend that has gained popularity is the use of wedding candle holders as a wedding decoration. The demand for it has even inspired retailers to come up with its different types, designs, shapes, and size which can attract larger audience and satisfy the needs of the bride and the groom.

Usually wedding candle holders are made from glass as it is simpler to use and it is easier to imprint messages and names in complex styles on it. Also, the crystal looked glass candle holder is loved by everyone. It is perfect for home decorations once the wedding is over. Moreover, wedding candle holders will always remain with you as a beautiful memory of your special day. The use of wedding candle holders is not just aesthetically pleasing; it is also practical and ornamental.

wedding ceremony decorations

Have the fairy tale wedding you’ve dreamed about since you were just a little girl. Proper planning and enough time are needed to make it work. Most wedding planners agree that at least one year should be allotted to planning. After all, some churches and reception venues take just as long to get reservations for.

List down all the things you’ll be needing such as wedding ceremony decorations, giveaways, gifts for the principal sponsors, etc. Set appointments with caterers, photographers and other people whose services you’ll require. Canvass first before signing any contracts. Of course, don’t forget to choose the members of your wedding entourage well.

Make your Favors the Centerpiece

January 2nd, 2008 | By mariposa

One great way to save money on your big day is to combine your centerpieces with your party favors. Centerpieces are a main part of your decorations and can have all sorts of functions. From the traditional arrangement of flowers, to a more personal choice to wishing wells surrounded by pens for guests to make well wishes to you, to a way to entertain children, centerpieces make a statement about your wedding and can make you and your guests enjoy the day more.

Give your centerpieces a little bit of thought and planning. You don’t want the flowers wilting or chocolate melting. I once even heard a horror story of someone who decided to combine votive candles under a tiny goldfish bowl-you can just imagine how that turned out.
