Sentimental Wife

Through the years, I think my wife and I have survived with our marriage and family life because of her sensitivity. She knows when she needs to be comforting, when I need to have space and everything else. She is also a very good mother to all of our children. That’s why there’s no wonder why all of our special occasions are filled with nothing but fun memories.

She is also a very sentimental person who wants all memories to be intact and be there whenever one wants to reminisce. She makes sure that all of the fun memories that our family has had will be kept inside leather scrapbook albums that she covers with a special kind of cloth. It’s well kept inside a special cabinet in our living room where guests can look at it whenever they want. Well, whenever I feel sentimental too I also look at them whenever nobody is around.

Shabby Wedding

My sister’s wedding will be held in my parent’s country home. My sister mentioned that she had always wanted to hold her ceremony here, since it brought her a lot of memories. This is the same place as well where she was molded to the person that she is at the present. This is the very spot where she had grown and become the perfect partner to her soon to be husband. I think it had a nice touch to it, and was quite surprised that my sister was quite a sentimental person.

For her wedding, I decided to get her one of those slate signs as wedding reception décor. I specifically asked the artist to write down happy ever after on the sign, which my cousin and I hung on the photo wall area to be used during the reception. We also added a few shabby country items which is truly reflective of the couple’s origins. The photo area was well appreciated by guests, and it was wonderful to have my sister so delighted with what we have done. For sure, the photos taken in this very place will bring in lots of good memories for all who attended.
