wedding bouquet

December 5th, 2008 | By WeddingPlanner77

The picture of a beautiful bride will not be complete with a handful of flowers. The wedding bouquet is as important to a wedding as other essential paraphernalia. Flowers, after all, are lovely accessories for any woman to carry at any time. The flower arrangement is designed to complement the wedding motif and its matching bouquets for the bridesmaids.

A wedding bouquet is thought to be a symbol of sexuality and fertility. Some believe that bouquets represent fruit-bearing properties and signify a future pregnancy. It is also a tradition to toss the wedding bouquet after the ceremony to the unmarried females present. Whoever catches the flowers is said to be the next bride.
